Teachings on the ritual and meditation for the Chokling Tersar short chöd practice: The concise daily liturgy for giving the body

Teachers: Tulku Sherdor and Sonam Wangmo

Announcing a chöd practice weekend at BWI the last weekend of October: bring your halloween costumes and ritual accoutrements!

Inspired by recent opportunities to practice the daily chöd ritual from the Chogling treasures with a community of current and former monks and nuns from Ka Nying Monastery and Nang Kyi Nunnery, and encouraged to learn the practice by Ven. Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, several sangha members approached Tulku Sherdor with the idea of holding a training program on the practice.

One or several of the former nuns will attend and demonstrate the instruments and melodies, and Tulku Sherdor will teach on the meaning of the practice and the visualizations, based on the extant commentaries and on his experience of practicing chöd more than 1,000 times, going back thirty years.
